C. V. Krishna Rao (born 1926) is a career social worker who retired as Director Backward Classes Welfare in Government of Andhra Pradesh. He is a poet, short-story writer and literary critic who wrote many a critical essay and assessment. He published four collection of poems. Vytarini deals with slums and lives of slum dwellers, Maadee mee voore with class distinctions and rifts and Avisrantam with the and rifts and Avisrantam with the leftovers of pristine of man. Killari unveils an imaginative artist’s perception of the devastation wrought by nature’s fury manifest in an earthquake. He founded the forum of poets “Nelanelavennela” of
